It's a rich, geographically disparate stretch where virgin forests hug rustling tobacco fields, colonial cities sprout from the foot of rugged mountains, and rivers reach blue tentacles around fertile valleys. HAVANA - 2nights

Day 1: Welcome to Havana! After clearing immigrations and customs, our airport representative lead you to your driver who will transfer you to a private house in the heart of the historic center. *Light lunch and meet and greet with your concierge. *Get your feet wet with an afternoon orientation walk. Later that evening, celebrate your arrival with a welcome dinner at a private restaurant. (*For morning arrivals)

Day 2:Meet with with our local expert guide and walk in the footsteps of Havana's colonial past visiting the four key squares of Old Havana. Lunch at a private paladar in the heart of the historic center. Then you will have the opportunity to see masterpieces of the Cuban architecture before and after 1959 with our architecture expert guide by a classic open top vintage car. Hidden away among fishing shacks on the Jaimanitas river you'll discover a gret restaurant for dinner. A fish and superb sushi-based menu is offered by the family of fishermen who own the restaurant and catch the fish daily. Pasta options are served for those who don't wish to eat fish

SANTA CLARA - 2nights

Day 3:This morning we depart for Santa Clara. After checking at your private house we'll get together with the artists from the Saiz Brothers Association of Villa Clara to discuss political expression through alternative art and music. From there we'll meet another group of local artists, this time from the NaturArte Community Project, an initiative aimed at reclaiming environmentally degraded public lands and putting them to good use in the community. The project we'll visit, now a self-sustainable nature-art park and urban farm, was once deemed an industrial waste site. Pre-dinner drinks at a new cafe that pays homage to Santa Clara's and Cuba's revolutionary process with photos, old uniforms and other ephemera lovingly curated by the owner.

Day 4: Our journey continues to Remedios, where a striking main plaza and Colonial-era churches fetch glances. While there, we'll visit the homes of some local seamstresses before gleaning an inside perspective on Cuba's music industry from the artists at Centro Cultural Las Leyendas. Here we may also enjoy a live and jazz, bolero, son or salsa, performance. After lunch we'll visit a local cigar factory – take in the sweet scent of tobacco as you learn about traditional cigar manufacturing methods. Wrap up the day with a discussion about the history of Remedios, and the impact that religion and the celebration of "Las Parrandas de Remedios," one of the Caribbean's largest and oldest traditional festivities, has on the town and its residents. Return to Santa Clara.

CAMAGUEY - 2nights

Day 5:This morning set off for Ciego de Avila, where we'll meet our local guide and take a bici-taxi ride through the historic center, visit the the Cigar Factory and the Wine house before lunch in a local paladar. Continue on along winding roads to Camaguey to chat with prominent local artists about their various art forms, the influence of Cuban art on society and how artists earn a living in Cuba.

Day 6:Today we'll take a city with a very peculiar layout through a lovely ride on a classic 1950´s american car, Camaguey has an intriquing architectural history. Our expert guide, will show you some of the best examples and hidden places. After lunch we'll visit Ballet de Camaguey, founded by renowned ballet instructor Vincentina de la Torre and you'll see, upon availability, a ballet class which will show dancers exhibiting the exquisite technique of the Camaguey Ballet School. You will have the opportunity to exchange with teachers and students. Dinner at a classic private restaurant located in the centre of the architectural Church and Hospital of St. John of God.

SANTIAGO DE CUBA - 2nights

Day 7:Depart this morning for Santiago de Cuba, stopping along the way in the the second city founded by the Spanish, Bayamo. This particular town had great importance during the independence of the island, Bayamo is the home town of some of Cuba´s most significant heroes. Our local guide will take to to the house in which Carlo´s Manuel de Céspedes was born (Currently a museum) as he explains the rich historyof this province. We arrive in Santiago de Cuba after dinner

Day 8:Meet with our local expert and visit the main historical and cultural places of the urban historic center of the city, which was declared National Monument on October 10, 1978. Visit the Moncada Barracks and its museum of July 26, the Revolution Square and other historical, religious and cultural sites and enjoy a sit in the Céspedes Park. Also included a visit to the Rum museum and The Emilio Bacardi museum. Lunch at a beautifull small paladar in the center of the historic center. After lunch visit Santa Efigenia Cemetery , declared National Monument since 1937, that keeps the story of heroes, troubadours and other illustrious locals; and where the mausoleum of our Apostle Jose Marti is located and the honor guard shift ceremony to our National Hero takes place. Enjoy the sunset from the most complete and the most preserved example of Spanish-American military architecture in Cuba, The Morro Castle or the San Pedro de la Roca Castle, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1997. After dinner live music at Casa de La Trova

BARACOA - 2nights

Day 9:This morning we depart Santiago de Cuba to Baracoa, the first villa founded by the Spaniards in Cuba, discovered by Christopher Columbus on November 27th, 1492. We'll arrive in the harbor town of Baracoa in time for lunch in a local paladar. Afternoon visti to the Catholic Church in the town, Hotel Castillo the 1st fortress built to defend the city from Corsarios and Pirates. There you can see an extraordinary panoramic view of the city. Then visit La Punta fortress. Dinner at a local paladar before hang out with the locals at this intimate music venue.

Day 10:Meet with our nature local expert guide and visit the town of Yumurí, 22 miles from the City of baracoa, near Alemanes pass, and is reached by a highway bordered by lush vegetation. You'll certainly get up close to nature passing the bay of Mata, Barigua and Manglito beaches. You'll take a boat ride up the river and get a chance to see the spectacular natural scenery from the water. You'll have an opportunity to swim in the river also. Your expert guide will also be on hand to show you amazing variety of flora along the river. Return to Baracoa on time for dinner and relaxing night by your own.

GIBARA - 2nights

Day 11:Early breakfast and depart to Gibara in Holguin, stopping at Alexander Von Humbolt, Balcon de Iberia National Park along the way. It's about 3 km trail path where you can observe some diffetent kind of trees, accumulation of stones of diverse composition very close to a river that drifted there due to the current from the mountain where the river born and the walkends with a refreshing bath in a natural pool. Box lunch break before continue to Gibara. Relaxing afternoon and night.

Day 12:Time for sea lovers! Just getting to the Tanques Azules (the blue tanks) dive site in Gibara is an adventure in itself. It is like you have arrived in another world, one that has so far remained relatively untouched and undiscovered. From here, the Cenote is yours to explore with the help of your experienced dive host. Take in the amazing clarity of the water and sparkling blue hue of it while observing the beautiful and strange formations. Return before lunch to the city and your guide will lead you through the beautiful city seeing the excellent architectural designs of colonial buildings, houses and parks. You will visit Los Caneyes view point south of the town.

Day 13: After breakfast, bid farewell to Cuba and board your flight from Frank País Airport in Holguin, back to your home.
